Chic garden entrance

The brief for this garden was to create a modern yet elegant entrance deserving of this character property. The owners wanted a space that was good for entertaining and enjoying the views of Rangitoto as well as offering privacy from passersby.

We used a simple palette of colours that complemented the house - french grey, green and white tones in the paving, planting, lawn and furnishings – giving the design an elegant yet modern feel. Olives, Magnolia and tiered hedging of camellia sasanqua 'setsugekka', corokia and box together with jasmine, astrantia, hydrangea, echinacea and daylilies add to the simplicity of the design and the lightness of the garden.
