Profile
I initially completed an honours degree in environmental planning and have had a successful career as both a consultant and urban planner. I moved into project management for public and private sector clients whilst living overseas. During this time I found that whilst I had developed sound business skills neither fields satisfied my need to express creativity, so I decided to train in art and later garden design through the KLC School of Design in Chelsea, London.
Creating visually beautiful yet strongly functional design has always been one of my passions and is what we strive for in all of our garden designs. We like to create contemporary gardens that have a strong sense of formality and place, yet have unexpected splashes of colour, movement and interest. We often mix evergreens and natives with perennials and grasses following in the tradition of some of Europe’s finest designers – whilst reflecting a distinctly New Zealand flavour.
